About this print

I wanted you to feel like you were standing right behind Meruem as he walked into the fight. From that low angle, his armored back fills the foreground and his tail sweeps toward you. Farther down the slanted ground, Majin Buu opens his arms with a grin, as if he’s been waiting for this.

The violet and pink washes almost meet before the fighters do. I liked leaving the duel right there, in the space between Meruem’s steady stride and Buu’s invitation to come closer.
