About this print

Attack on Titan came up twice in my draw, so for this crossover I kept both fighters in the same world.

I painted Jean and Mikasa in the middle of the fight. Mikasa is down on one knee, gripping her red scarf with one hand and keeping her blade ready with the other. Jean crouches behind her, his blade held out in front of her like a guard. They’re both staring straight at the enemy.

The pairing sparked a debate in the comments, but for me the scene was always about teamwork: two soldiers holding their ground together.
