Toji & Askeladd / Jujutsu Kaisen × Vinland Saga – Crossover 17

Go back
Crossover 17 featuring Toji Fushiguro from Jujutsu Kaisen and Askeladd from Vinland Saga in a contrast-themed anime playing card illustration. Toji appears as a black Joker with a wild, threatening grin, holding a bloodstained blade and preparing to attack against a purple background. Below him, Askeladd is portrayed upside down as the King of Diamonds, wearing a golden crown, jeweled rings and richly decorated royal clothing. The contrasting characters form a custom playing card design that inspired an upcoming anime-themed deck. Original watercolor crossover created by Averida Art

About this print

A joker you can’t predict. A king you shouldn’t underestimate. Toji’s feral grin faces Askeladd’s royal confidence in a composition built around two very different ways of being dangerous. The black Joker and the King of Diamonds each look like they have the winning hand.

This was the crossover that inspired me to create my own anime-inspired playing card deck. That project is now in progress, with the finished deck planned for sale. This original is where it all began.
